# Create a Stake

1. Obtain WATT or WATT/PLS LP tokens to stake (see the instructions on the prior pages)
2. Open the CORE <https://core.powercity.io/>
3. Navigate to the Stakes Page\

4. Click the CREATE STAKE button to begin
5. Enter the WATT or PLP tokens you want to stake\

6. Click the APPROVE button to authorize the use of the tokens first.\

7. Click the STAKE button to complete the new stake.
8. The new stake will now be displayed on the STAKES tab.\
