# Unstaking

* When you choose to end a stake, it will result in the NFT representation being burned, and the $WATT and/or LP tokens will be removed from the staking pool.
* When you unstake, the entire amount of $WATT or LP tokens in the NFT is withdrawn.  Partial unstaking is not possible.
* Upon unstaking, the allocation of AMPs will be eliminated, and the $WATT or LP tokens will be returned to your wallet.
* It is crucial to claim any accrued rewards before ending a stake, as failing to do so will result in forfeiting those rewards when the NFT is burned.
* Forfeited rewards will be automatically redistributed to the staking rewards pool.
